The time trial season has not only found it’s highlight but also it’s end in the 47km long circumnavigation of the austrian lake Attersee. The event, which is also know as “King of the Lake”, has become obligatory for every lone-warrior.

The fantastic, late-summery weather led to an unbelievable number of 1150 competitors. The starting intervals between the bikers were about 15 seconds long. However, worries about traffic have proved unjustified.

Felix Schneider, starting number 836,  started with his RAMS CYCLING at 3:44 p.m.

Head down and pedaling as much as possible was the motto after the countdown. For long distances like this, pacing, which means to optimally use one’s strengths, is undoubtedly the key to success. Unfortunately, Felix couldn’t use his resources ideally and therefore he lost some sweep on the last 5km.

However, with his aerodynamic ChaseUP rim out of own production, Felix could finally master the hill.

His finishing time of 1:11:25 slightly moves into the background of the impressive scenery of the Attersee due to his short preparation time and a sneaking flat tire.
