After two weaks of break, last Friday a lot of cyclers fought about points and round wins in the Dusika Stadion. Additionally to the third race day of Bahn-o-Rama, there was the Austrian Championship in Team sprint, even that this one was without participation of Chase athletes. So the second part of the competion was even more exciting.

First, you have to pass a knock-out-race to qualify for the A or B race and then you cycle a point race depending on your qualification. Part of this event was Felix Ritzinger with his completely new Chase.cx track rims that passed the endurance test easily without any problems.  He quity obviously cycled with a lower transmission than the other starters, for training purposes. But Felix still reached the fourth position in the knock-out race and in the following point race over 60 rounds he could win this competion clearly.

When the Oval in the Ferry Dusika Stadium calls on Friday afternoon, it is high time for the Bahn-O-Rama competitions. This was also the case on 24.11.2017 – but with a slight but very nice difference to the previous Bahn-O-Rama event. This time I was the radiant owner of the beautiful #CHASEcx carbon rims on my track bike.

In the constantly growing number of ladiestaking part I was able to present myself well and, above all, gain experience. Two competitions were on the agenda for the women’s/young talent field – elimination race and points race. Especially in the qualifying race, things went well for me by finishing second in the women’s competition. I lacked the tactical instinct for the points race, so that the 30 laps felt more like 50 – after all it was enough for sixth overall place.

The much-loved Donauinsel-Crossrace in Vienna was fortunately saved by a joint Crowd-Funding-action.

Nearly 50 competitors took part in this demanding bike-event.

The course was highly attractive and quick.

The bikers faced fast meadow-passages, slippery incline sections and several steep ramps to run over.

The ChaseUP bike could handle all these demands without any trouble and could therefore proudly demonstrate their ability to easily work under pressure.

At this point we want to strongly express praise to the organizers for the successful revival of this demanding and fascinating race series!

It’s possibly been the amazing weather which made the start into the Cyclocross season so pleasant. Cloudless sunshine on October 15th in Langenzersdorf was the best contrivable condition for a fantastic race!

Only those, who have power, can keep up in the front. Therefore this was the perfect hardness and durability test for our new prototype.

There have been some points remaining from the last year so Felix could match with the fastest competitors in the last race of the day. He had 60 minutes to drive as much rounds as possible and achieve the best possible position.

With our prototype ChaseUP rim the bike could be moved easily over all kind of obstacles and waves of the circuit and could even facilely accelerate out of every switchback.

It’s been a fascinating event to start into the new season! We still can work on our position, but fun and passion was definitely put in the foreground this time.

The time trial season has not only found it’s highlight but also it’s end in the 47km long circumnavigation of the austrian lake Attersee. The event, which is also know as “King of the Lake”, has become obligatory for every lone-warrior.

The fantastic, late-summery weather led to an unbelievable number of 1150 competitors. The starting intervals between the bikers were about 15 seconds long. However, worries about traffic have proved unjustified.

Felix Schneider, starting number 836,  started with his RAMS CYCLING at 3:44 p.m.

Head down and pedaling as much as possible was the motto after the countdown. For long distances like this, pacing, which means to optimally use one’s strengths, is undoubtedly the key to success. Unfortunately, Felix couldn’t use his resources ideally and therefore he lost some sweep on the last 5km.

However, with his aerodynamic ChaseUP rim out of own production, Felix could finally master the hill.

His finishing time of 1:11:25 slightly moves into the background of the impressive scenery of the Attersee due to his short preparation time and a sneaking flat tire.

Team RAA by Chase 2nd place RAA Challenge, handcrafted in Austria, carbon, rim, Grenzgasse 111 9/6/6, St. Gabriel, Felix Schneider, Peter Fröhlich, Chase

In this year Felix Schneider and Bernhard Weis achieved the brilliant second place in the Race Around Austria Team-competition. Straight from the start all 32 Teams gave their best.

Even professional cyclists participated in the quick, 560km long race.

The weather conditions were suboptimal – partly heavy rain and nippy temperatures obviously discomforted the bikers.

The team was perfectly supported by Daniel Koller, Reinhard Schindelka and Lukas Steinbichler – and was only defeated by Team 125 Hackl.

The front wheel rim ChaseUP could clearly prove it’s high-end quality. It’s been the first success for the just three-day-old rim. Things can definitely go on in this way.

Our very first ChaseUP rim has just been finished and exceeds our high expectations in every possible way.

Our innovative manufacturing process with a specifically designed brake surface shows that we are heading into the right direction to distinguish our own rim from other competitors.

Our rim is not only light as a feathers but also solid as a rock. Additionally, she has a very aesthetic, beautiful design and impressing technical braking and driving characteristics.

We are seriously proud of being published in the BIKE, the greatest European mountain bike magazine.

In the latest Austrian edition, they published a big article of our young enterprise.
